Well, as some of you may know, my heart lies in Japan. And if I'm going by the saying home is where your heart is, I am definitely back at home. And boy does it feel good!
I arrived on Saturday, found and checked into my hostel, had dinner with a new friend, and turned in early after meeting my roommates.
I then got up Sunday morning to go to Mino park. The park is beautiful, and I found it absolutely wonderful. But my word of advice would be to not go to a park during a typhoon. I think I may have even learned that lesson for myself.
After the window shopping, still rather wet, I traveled back to my hostel to get dry clothes and regroup. Finding (unlocked) wifi in Japan is turning out to be much harder than Korea... For the night, I went for a long walk in the Namba/Dotonbori area.
Sorry for all of the Korea comparisons... I have just grown so accustomed to being in Seoul that everything that is different immediately stands out to me.
I love Korea and Japan equally at this point and wish they'd just combine all of their awesome qualities and become one so I wouldn't have to choose between them.
