Did Someone Say Shopping?

I got up abnormally early (for a Saturday morning) yesterday and put it to use by working on readings for my classes and studying kanji a bit. It was a great slow start to they day, but I had bigger plans!

My friends and I planned to go shopping in Dongdaemun because we had heard it was a good shopping district. In the end, only Janelle and I went and along the way we found a shop selling nothing other than Obama socks. Ha!

But more importantly we went to this department store called Doota that had 8 floors above ground and 2 basement levels. It was all sorts of overwhelming. By the time we made it to the shops we were looking for, most were closed. I guess we'll have to return another time.

After our shopping trip, we headed to Sincheon (which happens to also be the location of Yonsei U, our rival, and I was wearing a KU shirt.....)

But anyways! We met some of Kiara's friends and some students from Yonsei that seem to be doing a similar study program. We had dinner together and went to karaoke afterwards!

It was my first time going to noraeban (in any country), but it was quite fun. I would love to go again.
