I have now been up for over 26 hours, but I guess that is mostly my fault. While the food wasn't the greatest, my flight went really well. On the trip to Seattle, a supposedly sold-out flight, the seat next to me was empty. Yay extra space. Then I got to Seattle just in time to grab my flight to Incheon. My seat-mate was very nice, talkative, and Korean. I should have slept on the flight, but instead I watched a lot of movies.
Getting through immigration was a piece of cake (but the lines were long) and the train was easy to find. I'm glad they have English all over the place or I would have been very lost. I made my way from the airport to the University all by myself and then graciously was driven by ISC staff up the hill to my dorm.
I began this post last night, but was too tired to complete it,so here I am again typing this morning. I set my alarm for 10am, but woke up at 4:30 and 8:30 and finally decided to give up on falling back asleep.
I needed to visit the store today because... They didn't provide toilet paper (turns out I bought scented toilet paper because I couldn't read the package...) I tried using a map given to find a store, but it only showed cafe's. So, naturally, I headed out to walk around and find one.
It is absolutely stunning here. (will post pictures when I take them) It's also very humid and I get to climb a hill to my dorm whenever I leave. Still waiting on roommates, but this is what my room looks like!
Now that I'm back, I'm contemplating a nap... Or trying to contact my buddy. I need someone to take me out for food and I have no roommates yet.
